Dive News: Wed 11 May 2016

Hi Divers

We have had some fantastic dive conditions on the South Coast and we have been making the most of it. The water is still warm and the visibility around 10 meters. It looks like the northerly winds will continue throughout the weekend, so come diving.

Congratulations to Amanda, Connie, Anna and Shannen on completing their open water course.

Saturday and Sunday mornings at 8.30am. Remember to book early if you need hire gear.

We have one spot still available on our Truk Lagoon trip planned for 2017. A full week of reef and some of the best wreck divng to be had.

Speaking of wrecks, we have a trip planned for Queens Birthday weekend, heading North for 3 days of diving the Rena and surrounding reefs. Weather permitting we hope to do 6 dives on the Rena over 3 days. $850 with a $200 deposit securing your place, 3 spaces left.

We have advanced open water, rescue, first aid, open water and specialty courses all happening within the next month, contact us if you want to do any diver training.

Diploma in Scuba Diving The Diploma course runs for 42 weeks Monday to Thursday. It takes students through to Specialty dive instructor and sets them up for a career in scuba diving. They log over 100 dives and gain hands on experience with student divers.

We also help with job placement where possible. The course is eligble for student loans and allowances. Our next intake is in August, if interested contact us for a prospectus.
