Hi Divers

If you didn't get a newsletter last week...don't panic, no one did. We were busy upgrading our website, check it out and give us your feedback www.divewellington.co.nz

Weather permitting this weekend we will be running our annual spearfishing competition and charity fish auction fundraiser. Our chosen charity this year is " Key to Life Suicide Prevention " These guys work with youth going into schools and talking about depression, anxiety, bullying and that suicide isn't an option. Formed by Mike King, he makes an instant connection with youth and helps them to open up and talk. Our goal is to raise $5000.

The fish auction starts at 5pm, and the more people that come to the auction, the more we raise for charity. Crayfish, paua, kina and fish all at cheap prices. If postponed, the back up day is Saturday April 2nd and people can phone the shop Saturday morning to check if it is going ahead.

If you would like to help us support this cause, there are several things you can do.

You can firstly share the event with everyone on your facebook page or in your email contact list. You can email us and we will send you a poster to print and put up  in your workplace.

You can volunteer to help out on the day for a couple of hours, cooking the bbq, bagging fish or helping with the auction.

You can come to the auction with your friends and bid on some cheap fish.

You can sponsor a prize catergory for the spearfishing competition by donating a prize.
