Hi Divers

Just 2 more days till Christmas......remember we do gift vouchers for those last minute present ideas and are open till 5.30pm Friday and Saturday.

The big northerly winds should settle by Friday morning, leaving a couple of days before Christmas to get in for a dive.

Hi Divers

You will have noticed we have had a few issues with our weekly newsletter, hopefully the problem is sorted now and sorry for the extra emails.

We are in a funny weather pattern at the moment, large northely winds and as soon as the wind drops we get southerly swell. Hopefully it comes right in time for Christmas.

Congratulations to Bonnie who has completed her Diploma in scuba instruction and to Carissa who completed her Leadership course.

Hi Divers

We have had a busy week introducing 25 kids from Raroa Intermediate to snorkelling and scuba diving. We had a blast showing them our underwater world! Conditions have also been great this week, they had 10m visibility snorkelling in the reserve yesterday!

We have had a light southerly come in today, but looks like we will be able to get a dive on the South Coast Saturday before another light southerly comes in on Sunday.

Hi Divers

Tomorrow is the first day of December. We are counting down to Christmas with loads of December deals, check out the bargains below.

There is still a little swell on the South Coast which starts to die away by Sunday.

Congratulations to Zoe Yang, Nicoline Bos and Jeff Lewis on completing their open water course. Also to Tess Keough on completing her advanced open water course.

We have 5 students sitting their instructor exams this week: Cam, Richard, Ian, Bonnie and Fiona. Good luck guys, we are sure all your hard work will pay off.

Hi Divers

We are in a weather pattern of Northerly winds with Southerly swell, so the diving has been patchy lately. It looks like the South Coast should be ok for diving this weekend before the swell is back on Monday.

The patchy weather has meant we are backed up with courses, so we are flat out teaching this weekend to catch up.

We are starting to get busy with tank testing and reg servicing, don't miss out on your gear being serviced by leaving it till the last minute this Christmas.

Dive News: Wed 02 Nov 2016

Hi Divers

We have northerly winds predicted for the remainder of the week,so the visibility should be great for diving this weekend. We have a large open water course happening, so note the later time for dive club dives.

Congratulations to Kathryn Nevatt who won the womens indoor freediving nationals, breaking her own record with a static breathold time of 7 minutes 45 seconds. This event is proudly sponsored by Dive Wellington and Beuchat. Local diver Guy Brew took out the mens competition.

Dive News: Thu 27 Oct 2016

Hi Divers

We had lots of happy divers after all the great diving last weekend. Both of our Labour weekend trips went well, diving the wreck of the Lermontov and the Canterbury in Northland. We had a busy weekend here as well, with 18 divers on Sundays dive club dive.

Last night we had a great night out at the Brewed Bar Island Bay with a trivia quiz night. 15 of us competed with varying levels of success. Congrats to Chris Anderson who won the knock out round.
